had a moment of perfection this weekend. My family went camping on Friday. I had to work and so my mom and dad took the boys up early and I left Phoenix around 5:30pm. I stopped at Sunset Point rest stop... at sunset! I've driven (and stopped) at Sunset Point dozens of times and I don't think I have ever been there at sunset. It was beautiful, as it always is. I got back in my car and decided to drive with the sun roof open and the windows down. I turned on jazz music as loud as I could stand it and my dog and I enjoyed the ride. It was so damn perfect. Beautiful. Brilliant. Magnificent. Divine.
Life can be about the ordinary, the mundane, the everyday. It can be about disaster, stress, anger, and frustration. Or it can be about all those perfect moments.
