Easter

Easter

OK, this has got to be my absolutely mostest favoritest thing about Easter.  Our traditional potato salad.  Isn't it so pretty??  We die the hard boiled eggs after they've been peeled so that the salad can be all pretty.  I LOVE IT!!!

The reason I've already got Easter pictures is because this last weekend, my sister and her family were in town from San Diego, so we decided to celebrate Easter with the whole family.  We had the traditional ham and potato salad and an Easter egg hunt for the kids.  Israel really loved the eggs.  It was hard to get him to pay attention to anything else!

Blog Watching

So, another friend of mine started blogging and asked for those reading her blog to send her blog addresses so she could catch up on their lives too.  So I emailed her my two blog addresses and the addresses for my family (which she is also close to) and then the links for a bunch of mutual ...  well, I don't know that I would call all of them friends, more like acquaintances.  Those people whose blogs I have found when googling people I used to know.  Yes, I read blogs and don't comment.  These people may never know that I am even reading their blogs.  So, I guess you could say I am blogstalking, yikes!  I counted today...  there are over 40 blogs (not including the blogs that are by people who I have no relation to or acquaintance with at all) so 40+ blogs that I read regularly - which means at least once a week - and really only about ten I would put in the stalkee category.  But it's fun to see where people from high school, college, and even jr. high and elementary school are up to these days (but I don't want them to know that I care - snob, much?).  So, I guess what I'm saying is: If your reading my blog, feel free to comment and let me know, or not, maybe I don't really want to know who's reading!

And Thank You For Darth Vader

So last night, I was helping Israel say his prayers and we were thanking Heavenly Father for different family members and he took the lead, as he often does.  So after I said thank you for Mamai (my mom) he repeated and conitnued, "and Shawn, and Katie, and Brian, and Lacy, and Darth Vader, and Samuel, and Papai, and Jenny, and Grandma Toni..."  So I just thought I would let you all know where you fall in Israel's list of those he is grateful for.

Leap Year

OK so I had to get in a leap year post...  Even though I didn't take the time to do anything cute.  Today was our first prenatal appointment.  Yup, that's right, I'm pregnant!  Looks like about ten weeks.  The dr. wasn't able to find the baby's heartbeat, so we scheduled an ultrasound for March 12th.  I forgot how exciting all this stuff is - and stressful too.  The dr. speculated that he wasn't able to find a heartbeat because either the baby is on the smaller side, or my uterys s possible tuned to the back (or something like that) or there is no baby.  Stressful, right?  Well, let me tell you, with all these symptoms, there had better be...  Well, you know how I feel, right?  But really, so far this pregnancy has been way easier than Israel's.  [Knock on wood.]  But it seems that the trend among my sisters is that boy pregnancies are more difficult than girl pregnancies, so hopefully that means that a little girl is on the way.  Which is good because no matter what the baby is, the name is Sarah Isabelle.  hehe.  Well, we'll keep you updated.
